Data-led connections for African trade
Verified African agri‑food suppliers, matched to real buyer requirements.

One record, from market signal to outcome
Every trade leaves the same six records, so buyers, suppliers and financiers work from one version of events.
- Market signalSourced, dated evidence on demand, prices and rules
- Buyer requirementSpecification, volume, delivery window, certificates
- Verified supplierDocuments checked by a named reviewer, with expiry dates
- Explained matchEvery score shows its reasons and its gaps
- Deal RoomMilestones, requests and decisions on record
- OutcomeWhat shipped, what didn't, and why
Good suppliers and serious buyers struggle to find each other.
- Buyers struggle to check a new supplier's claims from thousands of kilometres away, so they stay with the origins they already know.
- Exporters fill in the same documents for every buyer, and rarely hear why a deal did not go ahead.
- Introductions still travel through personal networks. When a trade fails, nobody records what went wrong.
- Lenders and programmes want evidence of real trade, but nobody collected it along the way.
Who it is for
- Buyers and importers
A short list of suppliers whose documents someone has actually checked, with every gap listed, and a record of each step after the introduction.
Submit a buyer requirement- Exporters, cooperatives and processors
One Trust Passport you control, instead of the same paperwork for every buyer. You decide who sees it, and you see who has looked.

How verification works
Each claim on a Trust Passport carries its level, its source, who checked it and when it expires. Expired certificates drop out of matching automatically.
| Level | What it means |
|---|---|
| Reported | The organisation told us. Shown, but clearly marked as unchecked. |
| Document-checked | A reviewer compared registration papers, licences, certificates and lab reports with the claims, and recorded the reason. |
| Independently verified | A third party confirmed it: a certifier's register, an accredited lab test, an inspection or a buyer reference. |
How matching works
Matching uses written, versioned rules, not a black box. A supplier missing a required certificate, or without consent to be shared, is excluded and the reason is shown. A reviewer approves every shortlist before a buyer sees it.

Missing: export licence, recent lab report. The reviewer sees these gaps before approving.
How a trade moves forward
When a buyer asks for an introduction, a Deal Room opens for both parties. Milestones, sample updates, document requests and decisions go on a timeline that cannot be edited afterwards.

Institutions and financiers
Export agencies and programmes can sponsor cohorts of exporters through verification and follow their readiness. Lenders and impact investors can see aggregated, permissioned evidence: verified capacity, buyer requirements met and trades completed. SokoNexus is not an investment marketplace, and no commercially sensitive document is shown without the owner's permission.
Pilot corridors
The pilot is recruiting buyers and suppliers for these routes. Other products and origins will follow.
| Product | Route | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Dried mango | Ghana → Netherlands and Switzerland | Lead corridor. Outside the EU deforestation rules. |
| Macadamia kernels | Kenya → Switzerland | Licensed processors only; Kenya prohibits raw-nut exports. |
| Specialty green coffee | Kenya → Switzerland | Starting with compliance briefings on Kenya's 2026 Coffee Act and EU deforestation rules. |
What SokoNexus does not do
- Hold, move or guarantee payments. Buyers and suppliers contract and pay each other directly.
- Guarantee a supplier's performance. Verification records what was checked; it supports your own diligence.
- Sell investments. Financiers see readiness evidence, not offers.
- Show a supplier's profile to buyers without the supplier's consent.
- Present sample data as real. Anything illustrative is labelled.
Take part in the pilot
Pilot partners will be listed here once they have agreed to it. Until then, we show no logos, quotes or figures.
